I offer legal help for criminal defence cases and road traffic offences. I'm highly experienced in everything from one-off minor infringements to more complex and serious charges, representing clients in Justice of the Peace courts, the Sheriff courts in Inverness, Fort William, Tain, Wick, Elgin and Edinburgh, as well as the High Courts of Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Thanks to my 24/7 police station service in the Highlands and Moray, I can be there with you from the start. I also advise on whether you are eligible for legal aid.

I know that being under suspicion for a road traffic offence is very unsettling, so I aim to ease the process with my tried-and-tested legal support. I cover every kind of traffic law offence, from speeding charges to drink driving.

I will come to any police station in the Highlands or Moray to offer legal advice and support, day or night, 365 days a year. I understand how stressful it is to be taken into police custody, so you will always find me supportive and ready to listen.

Funding Your Defence

You might be able to access my help for free through legal aid. It depends on a few things, like your income and savings, if you receive benefits and what you’re under suspicion for. As solicitors, it’s part of my job to talk you through your options, advise if you’re likely to get legal aid and help with the application.

My Fees

If you don’t qualify for legal aid, you’ll find me upfront about costs. The first appointment is free, then all chargeable work is discussed and agreed before we start. In most cases, I can agree a fixed fee so you’ll know exactly how much is due and when.
