Meet
Natalie Paterson
My passion for criminal defence struck right at the beginning of my working life, while I was working in a busy Edinburgh defence practice as an office junior. I began my legal career with Edinburgh-based Victoria Good & Company, before moving to Robert More & Company then Bannerman Burke Defence Lawyers once I qualified as a solicitor.
I grew up in the Highlands, and I decided to move back there from Edinburgh in 2019. I initially teamed up with fellow lawyer David Patterson, and together we founded Patterson and Paterson Defence Lawyers. In 2022, I branched out on my own.
Thanks to my singular focus on criminal law, I have dealt with and gained in-depth experience in every type of criminal case prosecuted at the Justice of the Peace Court, Sheriff Court and High Court. I'm dedicated to ensuring the best result for my clients and I've built a reputation for regularly achieving positive outcomes.
Outside of work, you’ll find me travelling, hill walking or enjoying some retail therapy.
